I have always had a love for making frozen dog treats – they are easy, fun, and all you have to do is have some random fruits, add water, and a couple hours later you have a treat that your dog will go wild for!

For this recipe I actually used the cups from prepackaged applesauce in little cups that I used for other recipes! If you don’t have that, any other cup or small container will work just fine.
These are not fancy at all, but my pup, Maeve, thought she was dreaming when she saw me pull one out of the freezer! I wouldn’t actually keep them in the cups – take them outside, flip them upside down, and let it fall out for your dog to enjoy.

There are only two ingredients (besides water) in this super simple dog pupsicle.
- Carrots: carrots support dental health, are low in calories, and are filled with vitamins
- Apples: carrots support for dental health, digestion, and immune function.

These pupsicles should be fed in moderation. MAX one per day. A great idea for using them is to help your dog learn some manners and have patience: ask for a sit before rewarding your pup with one!
